The Linde HMV280-02 Tandem is an HMV T-02 tandem motor consisting of two variable displacement HMV-02 motors arranged face-to-back and joined by a tandem flange. It is designed for applications that need substantially more torque while retaining the gearbox interface of a corresponding single motor.

Each motor has separate high-pressure and feed-pressure connections and can be controlled individually. Both units can be set to zero displacement. The arrangement uses the same mounting flange as the single motor and can be supplied with one or two shaft ends for direct driveline integration.

The tandem configuration can double available torque at the same gearbox interface, simplify torque increases in existing applications and eliminate the need for an additional transfer gearbox in suitable drivelines. Exact shaft, flange, controls and connections remain project-specific.
